
Why is nutrition so important?
Proper nutrition is essential for both mama and baby. After years of working as a birth doula I realized that despite the growing scientific research around nutritional needs in pregnancy, very few pregnant women receive nutritional support from their doctors. I believe that food is medicine, and our first defense in warding off complications and promoting a healthy journey. This philosophy, along with many other aspects of the motherhood journey, is something I explore more deeply in my book, Growing Together.


HOW NUTRITION CONSULTING CAN HELP

My Philosophy
I grew up in a Jewish family where meals were a central part of our life and connection to one another.

I believe food is medicine and that a healthy relationship to food is more than just what is on our plates.

When I was eighteen years old, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that sent me on a path of self-healing through nutrition and lifestyle changes. Over the past decade, I have seen firsthand how diet plays a role in my own well-being in reducing allergies, skin conditions, balancing hormones, eliminating fatigue, and so much more. My own positive pregnancy and postpartum experience were undoubtedly shaped by the way in which I nourished myself.

My approach is based on ancestral wisdom and current research. I am passionate about supporting women to create lasting habits that fit their individual needs.
